Thanks for providing a comprehensive guide to A place so close to home that we tend to leave it for later and later while travelling to places further away. Worth definitely a visit in the summer.
Interesting derivation of the word Slaughter. It is specially close to home (literally).
Keep providing good content like this and keep up the good work.
Thank you very much for the wonderful and encouraging feedback. Much appreciated. Do keep an eye out for the next one 🙂
Nicely written and covering the key aspects of the city and the Cliffs as always. Glad you have had these experiences pre-Covid and are able to reminisce now when we are all stuck at home.
Keep it up.
Thank you very much for your feedback.
Very detailed yet concise coverage of Norway with all the various flavours that can be enjoyed there. The Funicular is something every European city worth its salt seems to have and is always a fun thing to do for all ages.
The train journey high up among tunnels seems excellent as does the half day boat ride among the Fjords.
Enjoy the memories and hope you make new ones once all this pandemic and travel restrictions are a thing of the past.
Thank you for the detailed feedback and the encouragement.
And yes, I am utilising this time with the wonderful travel memories from my past travels. I feel the best way to enjoy and relive those memories are to write them down and share with anyone who is interested.
Nice feature. And so many things to do one this one train ride and so many experiences…incredible.
Fingers crossed, the solution for the pandemic is found soon and we can be back to normal and you can be back on the road experiencing new countries, cuisines and people and we get to enjoy them through your eyes when you write about them.
Thanks Aditya. Yes, hoping for normal days to be back soon and we all can travel again.
Excellent synopsis of your travels and great pics. You were very busy indeed this year. I am sure you are planning for more trips for this year to check off your bucket list destinations.
Enjoy…all the best.
Aditya, Thank you and hope to travel to some more of my dream destinations this year!
Very informative as usual. Glad you enjoyed. Keep up the travelling and the updates.
All the best.
Great posts – very informative.
Watch out for those dwarves! They might make it to England!
I really enjoyed the tour of Poland. Thanks for the friendship of our travelling companions.
Thank you, Barbara.
Hope you are doing well.
Really glad you read the post. Planning to write a few more posts on Poland as and when I can manage some time.
Totally agree, Poland was a great trip indeed.
Informative and nice post.
Thank you very much
This sounds like an incredible place. Hopefully, someday will visit Poland and Wieliczka too 🙂
Very detailed and well written. You have every information here that may be required for future travellers.
Thank you and it is incredible indeed. You must visit Poland whenever you can, so much history to see, feel and remember.
Thank you very much.
Wonderful, Papiya. Both the content and pictures are well organised. I see that you have added zoom and slide option for the pictures. And what is in a blog without food and travel tips – you got that covered. Checkout the video ‘Bizarre foods – Iceland’ to know more about Hákarl 🙂
Thanks Arish, your comments and encouragement are much appreciated.
What vibrant photographs 🙂
Thank you Amrita. Having such a great weather helped 🙂

Very nice and informative. You are doing a brilliant job.
Thank you. Glad you liked it. Your feedback is much appreciated.
Excellent Papiya for the prompt publish of the details with some helpful hints. Thanks for sharing in time as this is only on till today evening.
Thanks Aditya, glad you liked it. Tried to put it down while the experience from the visit was still fresh.
This is just a great post. I have never been to Chandigarh and therefore completely unaware of what it has to offer. Has this been in US, it would have probably shot up to top 10 must see places. But again, the Rock Garden does have a tough competition since this is India, steeped in history, culture and so much more.
I will be curious to know though if there is an entry fee, how long does it take to go around the entire place and what other spots are there to see in and around the Rock Garden. I believe those suggestions can also lead into new posts.
Thank you so much. Your feedback and suggestion is much appreciated. There is a nominal entry fee of INR20. It takes around 3-4 hours to visit the entire place. There are other places nearby like the Sukhna Lake…well, new post is a great idea!
Truly enjoyed the writeup cheers
Thanks. Your feedback is much appreciated.
Awesome thanks for sharing your experience…creative narrative
Thanks. Your feedback and encouragement is much appreciated.
Excellent informative piece here. Have learned so much reading it. Also, seems like it would be a good short trip that can be done if we are travelling back to visit India during our annual India trips.
Keep these coming.
Lovely content. All the very best! Will be looking forward to more travel stories.
